It’s good to be back home, Melbourne.
The grass is greener, the air is cleaner, my heart feels at home here.
My Singapore trip was rather blah, with my recent foot surgery keeping me from doing much during my short stay.
The day before I left, I had lunch with Kevin & Rox at Singapore’s CBD, the heart of the working district.
While lunching, Kevin & I commented that we could never see ourselves working 9-5 jobs (well, in Singapore it’s 9am-9pm)
Someone mentioned that I had the best job in the world because I love what I do and it pays well.
Kevin said to me: It’s probably because we can afford to fail that’s why dared to take the risk in the first place. (Kevin is in fashion)
Then I said back to him: Then again, most people who can afford to fail usually take the easy way out life instead of taking a risk.
Jarrod & Ainsley graciously let me be a part of their biggest day in their life, and also spend New Year’s Eve with them.
And yes, I love my job life.
