The other day I was in the car listening to the radio and the topic of discussion was couples that have been together since high school, and how it is a dying breed in this generation. There's something truly wonderful about two people falling for each other at the same time, and having the opportunity to grow together & the commitment to stick with each other from such a young age.
"I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way
than this: where I does not exist, nor you, so close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep." - Sonnet XVII, Pablo Neruda
Anna & Richard are one of those couples - they met each other during high school and have been together ever since. And so on the 13th of September, surrounded by loved ones, they celebrated their journey so far, and committed themselves to the journey ahead. Here's to young love, and to those who, in the words of Pablo Neruda, "love you because I know no other way".
