Your unique story.
Captured in a genuine, heartfelt way.
Let’s make magic together.

My approach to every wedding is to be an observer with an open heart.
I believe the more invisible I am, the more natural the day plays out to be - the day you hope it will be - a day of love in the purest way, a day where you can be true to yourself.

My hope is that you won’t remember me as a hired photographer, but a friend, who felt everything you felt, and who happened to be very good at documenting the in-between moments in a meaningful, artful way.

The Process

VALUES THAT GUIDE ME

Honesty

My hope is to capture your story in the most honest and genuine way possible. I believe my subtle, invisible approach to each wedding gives space for organic, real moments to fully flourish - that space where you can be truly yourselves - authentic & whimsical, silly & wonderful, vulnerable & joyful.

Thankfulness

I’m a big advocate for being thankful and it’s something I try to instil to my kids everyday. Out of thankfulness comes an appreciation for the smaller things in life - the way the light twinkles through a window, the wonder of a child, how a mother looks at her daughter walking down the aisle. These small moments join the dots to connect the bigger story.

Kindness

Kindness is something I keep at the forefront of my mind on a daily basis. It is with this attitude that I approach every wedding and my prayer is that it shows through my photographs with a warmth and sincerity.

FAQ

  • Do you have a second photographer?

Most of my best work is done solo - I’ve worked for a wedding photographer for more than 15 years so have enough experience of a wedding day to anticipate moments before they happen. On occasion I have brought a second shooter, depending on the schedule of the day.

  • Do you work with videographers?

Yes, definitely! Most of my clients hire me for my invisible subtle approach, and it’s essential that whoever you end up hiring as a videographers would have a similar approach.

  • Do you give out RAW unedited photos?

No, because editing is half the battle of processing a digital image. If you ever feel like you are missing photos, feel free to ask! An average 9 hour wedding receives about 800+ images, which is usually covers everything from the day.

  • Do you help with the planning?

I believe my 15+ years of experience as a wedding photographer can help with the planning of your wedding. I’m pretty creative in coming up for win-win solutions as well, so feel free to ask for help if you do need it!

  • Do you travel outside of Melbourne for weddings?

Yes! A small travel fee would apply for weddings outside of Melbourne. I can give you a quote for travel once we have a chat about the logistics of your wedding day.

I also frequent Singapore quite often because my family still lives there so if our timings match up, then no travel fee would apply.

  • Do you shoot film for a wedding?

I would love to shoot film for an entire wedding! I’ve shot a couple of family sessions and weddings completely on film and have loved it, but usually as a second shooter or as a favour where there is low risk. If you did want me to photograph completely on film, we can certainly discuss it!
