Family — we assume there will always be another Sunday, another breakfast, another ordinary morning together.
But sometimes life changes without asking.
The Tan family had to relocate suddenly after a parent’s health declined. Before they left, they wanted to remember this season as it was — slow, simple, and together.
So we spent the morning in Brunswick. Breakfast at Ona Coffee, little hands wrapped around warm cups of milk foam and sprinkles, conversations stretching a little longer than usual. Afterwards, they wandered into a photobooth nearby — three faces pressed close, laughter soft but real.
Sometimes it’s just your neighbourhood café, the streets you’ve walked a hundred times, the way you lean into each other without thinking.
Photographs become anchors in seasons like this.
Not dramatic. Not staged. Just love, held still for a moment.
