Robert & Shirley – A Pre Wedding Session Around Fitzroy
Robert & Shirley wanted their pre-wedding session to feel relaxed and uncomplicated, so we spent the afternoon wandering around Fitzroy without much of a plan. We walked through quiet back streets, stopped whenever the light looked good and let the neighbourhood do the rest.
I’ve always liked Fitzroy for pre-wedding photography because there’s so much variety within a few blocks — old terrace houses, little laneways, textured walls and everyday corners that don’t feel like obvious photo locations. It suited Robert and Shirley perfectly: easygoing, understated and completely themselves.
