David and Gracia had been hoping to photograph this season of life as new parents for a while, and had been waiting for one of my trips back to Singapore to make it happen. So when I announced I was coming back, they jumped straight on board.
I think there’s something especially meaningful about photographing these early days. Babies grow so quickly, and before long, the way they fit into your arms, their little expressions, and all those ordinary moments at home can feel like another lifetime.
It was such a lovely morning with the three of them, simply documenting life as it is right now.
I’m always so grateful for the continued support I receive whenever I’m back in Singapore, and for families like David and Gracia who trust me to photograph these little chapters of their lives.
