Valley of the Liquid Ambers, Heathcote Pre Wedding Photography
“WOW!!! We are in love with the shots!!! 😍😍😍 Just wanted to say thanks again- for making the shoot so comfortable and easy for us! We really enjoyed ourselves very much!!”
- Mark & Janice
Newly engaged, Mark and Janice were holidaying in Melbourne and wanted to make the most of their trip with a pre-wedding session.
When they told me they were visiting in early May, I suggested we try to catch the last of Melbourne's autumn colours. With our fingers crossed, we made the drive out to the Valley of the Liquid Ambers in Heathcote, hoping there was still some of the season left to enjoy.
Thankfully, there was.
No road trip is complete without McDonald's, so naturally that became part of the story too. They sat beneath a canopy of yellow and orange leaves, finishing their lunch while we eased into the afternoon.
Melbourne, of course, stayed true to herself and gave us all four seasons in a day.
Sunshine gave way to rain. The rain gave way to blue skies. We spent part of the afternoon waiting out passing showers from the comfort of the car before heading off again.
Before making our way home, we stopped at the Pink Cliffs Reserve. As the rain cleared and the sun broke through, a rainbow appeared. A pretty perfect way to end the day.
