Mornington Peninsula Wedding Photographer
I’ve photographed quite a few weddings down on the Mornington Peninsula over the years, and it’s always a nice excuse to get out of Melbourne for the day.
From Red Hill and the vineyards further inland, to the coastline around Flinders, there’s a little bit of everything down here.
Weddings in the MORNINGTON PENINSULA
I think what I like most about weddings on the Mornington Peninsula is that they tend to feel like a bit of a getaway.
Even though you’re not that far from Melbourne, once you’re down there the pace feels different. A lot of couples choose somewhere where the ceremony and reception can happen in the one place, guests can stay nearby, and everyone can settle in for the day without too much running around.
It’s quite similar to what I love about weddings in the Yarra Valley.
Less travelling. More time with the people you’ve invited.
And usually, a pretty nice drive home for me at the end of it.
Lindenderry Red Hill
I’ve photographed quite a few weddings at Lindenderry over the years, and it’s one of those venues that suits the Mornington Peninsula really well.
Everything can happen in the one place, there’s plenty of room for guests to spread out, and you don’t need to disappear for ages to find somewhere nice for photographs.
For me, that usually makes for a much more relaxed wedding day.

Port Phillip Estate
Port Phillip Estate is one of those places where you arrive and pretty much have everything you need around you.
There’s the vineyard, the views and plenty of space to wander for a few photographs, but you’re never too far away from everyone else.
Which is always a good thing in my books.

Polperro Winery
Polperro has a lovely intimate feel to it, and I’ve always liked venues where the wedding doesn’t need to become overly complicated.
You can keep everyone together, take a little time out for photographs when it feels right, and then get back to enjoying the day.

Tanglewood Estate
Tanglewood feels a little tucked away from everything, which gives weddings there a really nice sense of privacy.
There’s plenty happening around the property without needing to travel anywhere else, so the day can just unfold in the one place.

Tussie Mussie Vineyard
Tussie Mussie is a smaller, more intimate kind of venue, which is probably part of what I like about it.
It feels less like everyone has arrived at a big wedding venue and more like you’ve gathered your favourite people somewhere beautiful for the day.
